Time Warner Cable 5K Run/Walk

Walk or run the exciting 3.1 mile course, starting and finishing on the Fox Valley Technical College Campus.  All participants will receive a custom printed short sleeve race shirt, finisher medal, and refreshments.  The first 1,200 participants registered will also receive a full goodie bag.  Join in the kick-off event to Marathon weekend!

Chip Timing:
The 5K Run/Walk will use the “Champion Chip” scoring system – “state-of-the-art” computer technology available for race timing and results.  This system allows your “Chip Time” to begin when you cross the starting line instead of when the gun goes off.  Your finish time is calculated precisely when you cross the finish line.

5K Run/Walk Packet Pick-Up & Registration:
5K Run/Walk packet pick-up will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19 at the Fox Valley Technical College commons area and Saturday, September 20 from 6:45 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. at the Start Line tent on the east side of Fox Valley Technical College.

Awards:

• Top three male and female overall winners
• Top three male and female age group winners (age groups start with 9 & under and increase in five-year increments through age 70 and over)
