Guardian Kids Fun Run

Runs will take place at Fox Valley Technical College on the northeast athletic field with activities, games, refreshments, and fun all morning!

A medal and t-shirt to all participants; goodie bags to the first 1000 kids registered.

Races Will Be Held At:
Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 N. Bluemound Dr., Appleton

Races will be held on athletic fields at Northeast corner of the campus, on the corner of Bluemound Dr. and Northland Ave. ("OO").

Races Start At:

10:00 a.m. with the Toddler Trot and will be approximately every 15 minutes.  Multiple heats are held per age race to insure safety and fun for all!  Please note the race times and times to arrive in the chart below.

Games, Refreshments, & Registration Begins At:

9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the morning until the last race is done.  Plan to arrive early and enjoy more than just the Fun Run!

Entry Fees:
$8 per child thru September 19, 2008; $10 per child on race day.

 Entry fees are non-refundable.

NEW!  Charity Partner for Guardian Kids Fun Run!

$1 from each Guardian Kids Fun Run entry will be donated directly to Special Olympics Wisconsin.  Although not required or expected, kids and families may also choose to raise additional funds for Special Olympics as part of their race experience.

The Guardian Kids Fun Run feels strongly that exercise should be a healthy part of every child’s life; however we do not believe that young children should have to deal with the stress and pressure that comes with serious competition.

The Guardian Kids Fun Run is designed so that every child leaves the event feeling like a winner and sporting a medal.  We are not awarding trophies this year to the fastest children overall, but rather reward and acknowledge each and every child who comes out and participates.  Life is filled with pressure and stress, let’s allow kids to be kids and just run and have fun!

Guardian Kids Fun Run Packet Pick-Up & Registration:
Guardian Kids Fun Run packet pick-up will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19 at Fox Valley Technical College and before the race on Saturday morning under the tent located on the northeast athletic field.  For Friday night packet pick-up, please go to Entrance 10 at Fox Valley Technical College and follow the signage.
