Competitive & Non-Competitive Divisions
13.1 mile Competitive Walk
The competitive13.1 mile Walk is an organized, competitive event with specific rules. Spotters along the course will be monitoring any violations. A colored bib specific to the competitive walk must be visibly worn on the front and back at all times. All racers agree to walk the entire course and any running, jogging, or shuffling will result in disqualification from awards. One foot must be on the ground at all times.
13.1 mile Non-Competitive Walk
The non-competitive, fitness walk is being offered for people who take pride in walking and also seek a challenging event. All participants agree to walk the entire course and will be issued a bib color specific to the non-competitive walk (the Community First Fox Cities Marathon and the U. S. Cellular Half Marathon are options for people who choose to run/walk). All participants in the non-competitive walk will not eligible for awards but will receive all the same perks as the competitive walkers.
